Preparing to live a debit free life

Hello All, How is every-one's day going today? It is a cool wet & rainy here in NYC. I need to go out and get a manicure but I am being very lazy right now. I could be cleaning my room but I don't feel like doing that either! LOL! I did do something big for me yesterday and MAN it felt great!!! I shredded all of my credit cards!!! my impulse spending has been getting out of hand and that was the only way that I could stop it! I did keep my Kohl's card cause lets face it I'm not stupid! LOL! I shredded my Visa, Visa, MC, American Express, MC, MC, & MC. I think that was all of them. Thankfully I didn't owe money on all of them but just having them know there with no balance makes me want to spend money. When I started my current job 7 years ago I did it debit free and was that way for 4 years. I have been in debit again for 3 because I had to get a new car so I had that loan. That will be done by June of next year and all my CC debit will be gone my Feb of next year.......maybe even sooner now that I shredded the cards and don't have the numbers anywhere! I can not tell you how liberating it was!!! This is one of the best things that I have done it a long time!!!
